NRW Holdings has secured a number of contracts through its subsidiaries Golding Contractors and RCR Mining Technologies for works in Queensland and Western Australia.
Golding Contractors has won a $50 million contract that adds to the company’s existing contract with Coronado Curragh. Under this new contract, Golding Contractors will bring a fourth fleet to its current operations to help increase capacity at Curragh’s main coal mine in Queensland. The new fleet will include a Caterpillar 6060 excavator as well as four hired Komatsu 830E trucks and ancillary plant.
“Additional fleet represents an expansion of scope in a contract with Coronado Curragh that commenced in 2014 and reflects the company’s continued ability to provide solutions to expand client operations,” NRW Holdings Chief Executive and Managing Director Jules Pemberton said.
On the other hand, RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT) has been awarded a number of contracts with a total value of $22 million. Works will include the supply of process equipment and support activities for the company’s Western Australian clients. In addition, RCRMT has begun ordering long lead items that will support works for these contracts.
“Since acquiring the business in February integration activities have progressed well and winning this work is particularly welcome news to our workforce in Bunbury and Welshpool,” Mr Pemberton said.
