Chevron Australia will soon move into its new headquarters in Western Australia as construction commences on the One The Esplanade in Elizabeth Quay, Perth.
The new 29-storey tower is being developed by Brookfield Properties and Multiplex, in partnership with Chevron and the State Government, and the $362 million project is expected to support up to 1,200 jobs during its development and construction.
“My Government is committed to making Elizabeth Quay as self-sustainable as possible, with a large permanent workforce located in a world-class building like this.
“The new 29-storey tower will add to Perth’s skyline bringing with it more optimism to the property development sector. The build will create thousands of jobs during construction and cements Brookfield and Chevron’s long-term position in Perth,” Premier Mark McGowan said.
