Adelaide Casino General Manager Luke Walter, commenting on the Adelaide Railway Station revitalisation, said: “It’s got special character and to bring it back to its former glory is pretty important as well, and it will complement our new building.”
According to Hansen Yuncken State Manager Mark Rosenboom, the firm is committed to utilising local content throughout the expansion’s delivery phase.
“At its peak, we’d anticipate in excess of 300 skilled workers are needed every day to deliver this high quality and iconic project and we’ll be partnering predominantly with local industry throughout,” Mr Rosenboom said.
The Adelaide Casino expansion is part of the broader Adelaide Festival Plaza redevelopment project that is aimed at transforming the precinct into a world-class destination.
This expansion project is funded by New Zealand-based casino operator SkyCity - who also owns Adelaide Casino.
